Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Cookies and local storage are both small pieces of data a website can save in your browser so it can remember something between page loads or visits. A cookie is automatically sent back to the server with every request that follows; local storage simply sits in your browser and is only read by the site’s own scripts when they choose to. Neither one is inherently about tracking or advertising. That depends entirely on what a given site decides to store and what it does with it.
What this site actually uses
EyeOfHorus.io does not set any cookies.
The only thing this site ever stores in your browser is a single piece of local storage: a key named eoh_notice_seen, written the moment you click “Got it” on the small cookie notice bar that appears on your first visit.
- It is local storage, not a cookie. It is never transmitted back to our server or to anyone else.
- It contains no personal data, just a flag (
1) meaning “this visitor has already seen and dismissed the notice.” - It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or tracking of any kind.
- It is the only piece of browser storage this site writes, anywhere, for any purpose.
That is the complete and honest extent of it. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session-replay or heatmap scripts, and no other tracking technology running anywhere on EyeOfHorus.io at this time.
Third-party cookies
This site does not embed any third-party trackers, advertising networks, or analytics services at this time. We don’t load scripts from ad networks or analytics providers, and no third party can read or write cookies through this site.
If that ever changes, for example, if analytics or advertising were added in future. This policy will be updated first to describe exactly what is added and why, before it goes live.
How to clear this
Because there’s nothing here but one local storage flag, there’s nothing sensitive to “clear”, but if you’d like to reset it anyway, clearing your browser’s site data or local storage for eyeofhorus.io will do it. The only effect is that the cookie notice bar will simply reappear the next time you visit, since the site will no longer remember that you dismissed it.
Exact menu names vary by browser and change over time, so look for a setting along the lines of “Site settings,” “Privacy and security,” or “Clear browsing data” in your browser’s settings, and clear site data for this domain specifically.
