Eye of Horus Strategy
Build a sensible session before you spin. Choose the version, set the stake, understand the feature and decide when the session ends.
My Session
Betting units
200
bankroll ÷ stake, recalculated as you type
This is a planning tool, not a launcher. It doesn’t open the game. It exists so the key numbers get decided now, not while the balance is moving.
The route
Six Decisions, in Order
Everything below expands one step of this route. None of it needs to happen in your head, write the numbers down before you press Spin.
Choose Version
Pick the release you’re actually playing.
Check RTP
Open the info screen before the first spin.
Learn Features
Know what Horus and the Scatter actually do.
Set Stake
Pick it from the bankroll, not the mood.
Set Limits
Decide the stop points before results appear.
Play
The reels take it from here.
Step 1 & 2
Compare Your Two Options
Eye of Horus exists in more than one release, and per-release figures aren’t something this page can hand you, published RTP genuinely differs between versions, so pull these from the game’s own information screen rather than trusting a number copied from another page.
Option A
RTP shown in that version’s info screen
Option B
A different RTP shown in that version’s info screen
If the two options are otherwise equivalent, preferring the higher verified RTP is a real decision. Do not label either one “better” from a short run of spins, and do not assume mechanics match just because the artwork looks similar, check the Wild and Scatter rules too.
Understand what RTP does and doesn’t tell youStep 2 & 3
Before You Spin
A loading-screen checklist. If any line isn’t true yet, that’s the next thing to do, not the first spin.
- RTP verified in the game’s information screen
- Paylines understood, see how they work
- Horus Wild behaviour understood
- Free spins & upgrades understood
- Stake selected from the bankroll
- Budget and stop points selected

Step 4
Stake Builder
Same bankroll, four stakes. A larger stake is not a stronger strategy. It’s less room for the bankroll to absorb an ordinary quiet run.
Bankroll £100
Stake per spin
£0.50
200
starting betting units
Units do not equal guaranteed spins. Wins recycle money, bonuses extend a session, poor runs shorten one, but a smaller stake gives the bankroll more room to absorb an ordinary swing.
Same step, three framings
Session Length Mode
None of these is the “correct” stake. They’re three honest trade-offs, pick the one that matches what you want from the session.
No Prediction Zone
The one section on this page that isn’t a tool.
Nobody knows what lands next, not even the game, until the reels stop.
Scenario
Stake After a Loss
Scenario: current stake £0.50. Balance £60, started at £100. Your move?
Scenario
Stake After a Win
Scenario: started at £100, balance is now £180. Your move?
Previous profit does not make the next spin safer.
Real state vs. imagined state
A Meter That Isn’t Real, Next to One That Is
This bar cannot exist inside the real game. Nothing tracks how “due” a bonus is, and no run of quiet spins moves a hidden needle closer to triggering it.
The contrast is the whole point. The top bar is a feeling with a percentage attached. The bottom panel is information the game’s own rules actually record.
Short version
Near-Misses Are Not Progress
Two Scatters are not two-thirds of a feature, and a near-Scatter has no carry-over value, unless the exact version you’re playing explicitly documents a persistent collection mechanic. Check the information screen rather than assuming one exists.
What actually carries over
Paid Spins Reset. Free Spins Can Persist.
Every paid spin resets
Free spins can persist
“The previous spin lost, so the next one is more likely to win” is not real. “The previous free spin upgraded the symbols, so this free spin uses the upgraded set” is real. It’s a rule the game actually records.
Watch the feature properly
Feature Reading Mode
Once free spins begin there’s almost nothing left to decide, so watch the state instead of the animations. Illustrative values, shown as multiples of stake rather than cash.
An upgrade improves the reel environment. It does not mean the next spin must win, and extra spins are more opportunity to use it, not a guarantee.
Betting systems, tested
Strategy Systems Lab
None of these change which symbols the random game produces next. They only change how much money is attached to the outcomes.
What it changes
vs
What it does not change
Worked example
The Doubling Staircase
Total staked before the next result: £31.50. Slots don’t offer a simple even-money outcome where one win automatically recovers everything already lost, a £16 spin might return £2, £0, or £7. The doubling logic doesn’t fit the payout structure cleanly.
Pace changes exposure
Spin Speed Tool
Simple wagering-volume example, actual play varies. RTP doesn’t change with speed; how much money passes through the game per hour does.
150 spins/hour
£75
wagered per hour
300 spins/hour
£150
wagered per hour
Same mathematics, faster
Autoplay Setup Panel
Autoplay just repeats the spin command. It cannot recognise a hot period or improve RTP. It can make a session easier to lose track of, so limits matter more when it’s on, not less. Available controls depend on the game and operator.
Learn mechanics, not streaks
Demo Training Mode
Free play is genuinely useful for learning the mechanics. It is not useful for deciding whether the game is “paying” right now, a demo result predicts nothing about real-money play.
- Find all the paylines. Ten Tips walks through how they connect.
- Watch Horus expand. See what an expanded reel actually does to the paylines crossing it.
- Trigger or inspect free spins. Learn the upgrade sequence before it costs anything.
Ignore whether the demo looks hot or cold. That part doesn’t transfer.
Think in multiples, decide in cash
Multiplier Mode Converter
A £0.20 stake returning £10 is a 50× win. A £2 stake returning £40 is only 20×, despite the bigger number. Multipliers compare outcomes cleanly, but your bankroll lives in cash.
Cash Win
£40
Same settings, two shapes
Two Sessions, Illustrative
Identical starting settings. Neither predicts what happens next time. They show why the stopping rule matters more than the shape of any one session.
Winning, Illustrative
Start £80
Bonus £91
Big feature £146
Profit point £140 reached, session ends
+£66Full path: £80 → £73 → £61 → £56 → bonus → £91 → £82 → £67 → big feature → £146.
Losing, Illustrative
Start £80
No feature arrives £0
Original budget reached, session ends
−£80Full path: £80 → £64 → £48 → £33 → £21 → £8 → £0.
The losing example does not include “one more deposit because the bonus must be close.” The budget was £80. The session ends when it’s gone.
If a feature runs hot
One Withdrawal, Three Choices
A feature takes £100 up to £300. None of these is universally correct, each changes something different about what happens next.
Stop
Bank the full £300. Removes all further risk to this session’s winnings.
Withdraw £200, Continue With £100
Locks in most of the win. The remaining £100 plays under the original plan.
Continue With the Full £300
Keeps everything in play. More of the win is now exposed to future spins.
What doesn’t make sense: “I’m £200 ahead so I cannot lose.” The balance can move back down, and money already won is real money. A withdrawal doesn’t change future probabilities. It changes how much remains available to lose. Don’t cancel one because the game “feels hot”: the last feature being strong doesn’t make the next paid spins more favourable.
Step 5
Stop Rules Builder
Personal limits, not a system that improves RTP. A stop-loss doesn’t change the house edge. It changes the maximum you’ve decided to expose.

Eye of Horus is a game of chance. Nothing on this page changes the odds of a spin. Decide your budget before you play, and stop when you reach it.
