Eye of Horus Symbols and Paytable
Learn what every symbol does, how Horus creates Wild wins, and how the paytable changes from three matching symbols to five.

Every symbol pictured here, including the Scatter and the Wild, is covered in the symbol inspector just below.

The symbol ladder
Nine tiers, lowest to highest, on this site’s own paytable. Horus Wild and the Scatter are shown separately beside the ladder. They do not pay like the nine tiers below, so they are not ranked among them.

Order follows this site’s own paytable. Always confirm the hierarchy inside the version you are playing.
Start with one spin
Reading a single result
Reel 1 Ankh, reel 2 Ankh, reel 3 Horus Wild, reel 4 Ankh, reel 5 Ankh. Four real Ankhs and a Wild, but only because they sit on the same active payline. Step through the breakdown.
One spin, one payline, step by step

Matching symbol: Ankh
Matches: 5 (4 real Ankhs, plus the Wild)
Wild used: 1 (reel 3)
Payline: Line 1 · straight through the centre
Payout: 5-of-a-kind Ankh is 25× on this site’s paytable. At a €2 stake that is 25 × €2 = €50.00.
Move any one of those five symbols off Line 1 and this result disappears, even though the same five symbols are still on screen.
One Wild, several lines
The Horus transformation
Watch Horus land on reel 3 and expand to cover it completely. Once the whole reel is Wild, every payline that passes through reel 3, at any row, can use it.
Reel 3, three stages

Reel 3 is now fully Wild. Pick a line to see it use that Wild:
Line 1 runs straight through the middle row, reel 3’s middle cell is now Wild.
One expanded reel can contribute to several separate line wins at once. It is not limited to a single payline.
More on the Horus WildDifferent job, different rules
The Scatter, separately
The Eye of Horus does double duty: it is the highest regular symbol on this site’s paytable, and in classic versions it is also the symbol that triggers Free Spins. Its Scatter job works differently from a normal paying symbol.
Scatter inspector
Two Scatters landing and a third narrowly missing is not a near-miss the game remembers. The next spin is not more likely to trigger Free Spins because of it.

The Payline Lab
Every payout on this page assumes the matching symbols sit on one of these 10 lines. Step through them one at a time, or show all 10 together.
All 10 paylines

Line 1 · straight through the centre
Every line, written out. Reels run left to right:
- Line 1 middle, middle, middle, middle, middle
- Line 2 top, top, top, top, top
- Line 3 bottom, bottom, bottom, bottom, bottom
- Line 4 top, middle, bottom, middle, top
- Line 5 bottom, middle, top, middle, bottom

- Line 7 bottom, bottom, middle, top, top
- Line 8 middle, top, top, top, middle
- Line 9 middle, bottom, bottom, bottom, middle

Line paths follow the common 10-line layout for this reel set. Always confirm them against the paytable inside the version you are playing.

Does this win?
Four short arrangements. Decide Yes or No before revealing the answer.
1 · Three Scarabs, scattered
Scarab on reels 1, 3 and 5. Reels 2 and 4 are something else.
No. A line win needs matching reels counting from reel 1. Scarab skips reel 2, so the run breaks immediately, three matching symbols on screen is not the same as three-of-a-kind on a line.
2 · Ankh, Ankh, Horus, Ankh
Ankh on reels 1, 2 and 4, Horus Wild on reel 3, all on the same payline. Reel 5 is unrelated.
Yes. Horus substitutes for the missing Ankh on reel 3, so reels 1–4 read as four matching Ankhs along the line. That pays the 4-of-a-kind Ankh rate: 5× on this site’s paytable. The run stops at reel 4 because reel 5 breaks it.
3 · Lotus, Lotus, Lotus
Lotus on reels 1, 2 and 3, all on the same payline. Reels 4 and 5 are different symbols.
Yes. Three matching symbols counting from reel 1 along an active line is the basic paying combination, the 3-of-a-kind Lotus rate, 1× on this site’s paytable. It does not need to reach reel 4 or 5 to count.
4 · Right symbols, wrong line
Anubis on every reel, alternating top row / bottom row / top row / bottom row / top row.
No. Five matching symbols, but that exact top/bottom/top/bottom/top zigzag is not one of the classic 10-line layout’s paylines, check the Payline Lab above. Looking aligned is not the same as sitting on a real line.

Three, four and five of a kind
The same symbol, Pharaoh’s Mask, at every run length this site pays. The useful question is not “what’s the biggest number”. It is what each length actually pays.
3 of a kind
3×
4 of a kind
12×
5 of a kind
50×
Longer combinations usually increase the payout sharply: four Pharaoh’s Masks pay four times the three-symbol rate; five pay more than sixteen times it.
Activity is not the same as a win
A busy screen can pay nothing
Two screens. One looks full of matching symbols. The other looks plain. Only one of them pays.

LINE 2 · Win
Number of matching symbols on the screen is not enough. Position decides the result.
One total, several lines
Where a big total actually comes from
Example spin at a €1 stake, with four separate lines winning at once. Every figure below is this site’s real paytable multiplier × €1.
Total
€35.50A large total usually comes from several paylines winning at once, or Horus expanding across more than one of them, not from one single enormous line.
A quick preview
Symbols change during Free Spins
Each Horus upgrade removes the weakest tier still on the reels and promotes it. Two upgrades, briefly:
Base symbol set
All 9 tiers active. Weakest on the reels: 10 · J · Q.
After 1 Horus upgrade
10 · J · Q removed. Weakest on the reels is now K · A.
After 2 Horus upgrades
10 · J · Q and K · A removed. Weakest on the reels is now Lotus.

The full paytable
This table is this site’s own demo paytable, the figures are multipliers of your stake, not cash amounts, and they are specific to this site, not a universal Eye of Horus figure. A licensed release you play elsewhere can use different values entirely.
| Symbol | 3 of a kind | 4 of a kind | 5 of a kind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Eye of Horus | 5× | 25× | 120× |
| Horus falcon | 4× | 18× | 80× |
| Pharaoh’s mask | 3× | 12× | 50× |
| Anubis | 2.5× | 9× | 40× |
| Scarab | 2× | 7× | 30× |
| Ankh | 1.5× | 5× | 25× |
| Lotus | 1× | 4× | 20× |
| A | 1× | 3× | 12× |
| K | 1× | 3× | 12× |
| Q | 0.8× | 2.5× | 10× |
| J | 0.8× | 2.5× | 10× |
| 10 | 0.8× | 2.5× | 10× |
A and K also pay 0.3× on a 2-of-a-kind run; Q, J and 10 pay 0.2× on a 2-of-a-kind run. No other symbol above them pays on a run shorter than three.
Special symbols, no payout row
Substitutes for other symbols along the line. No independent payout. It pays as whatever symbol it completes.
Triggers Free Spins instead of a line payout in its Scatter role. Its regular-symbol payout is the top row of the table above.
